Who are we looking for?
123ATEX.eu is looking for an experienced Inspector NEN 3140 / NEN 1010 to independently execute projects for our clients.
What will you be doing?
As an Inspector, you often work independently on ongoing inspection projects. In this role, you do much more than just inspect. You maintain contact with the client and ensure that inspection results are checked and delivered correctly. Project management is therefore also part of the work, and you are also expected to provide light consultancy work during your presence on inspection projects. The majority of your work will be carried out on-site, with a 50/50 split between fieldwork and office work. Furthermore, you will also regularly work at our headquarters in Stellendam.

Through our years of expertise in the ATEX field, we can completely unburden our clients on every aspect of Explosion Safety. 123ATEX.eu is active in the oil & gas sector, (petro)chemicals, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, inland navigation (ADN2019), and the food industry, among others, but SMEs also regularly call upon our expertise. For some time now, we have also been involved in NEN 3140 / NEN 1010 (Low Voltage) inspections; inspecting electrical installations in industry, chemicals, and SMEs. We want to expand these activities, and that is why we are looking for reinforcement!
What are we looking for?
You have:
- MBO 4 or higher work and thinking level with a completed education in Electrical Engineering;
- 2 years of experience as an Inspector NEN 3140 / NEN 1010, with corresponding reporting;
- Up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations, legislation, and NEN standards;
- Knowledge and/or experience with ATEX inspections (a pre);
- A completed SCIOS scope 8 and/or 10 (a pre);
- Strong powers of persuasion;
- Good command of both the Dutch and English languages;
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
You are:
- Strong in communication, both verbal and written;
- Enthusiastic and customer-focused;
- Independent and initiative-taking;
- Structured and able to plan systematically;
- Capable of executing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment;
- Able to initiate, further expand, and maintain new client relationships.
