Who we are looking for
123ATEX.eu is looking for an experienced (Senior) ATEX Specialist who can independently execute projects with a focus on ATEX and process safety for our clients. As a Senior ATEX Specialist, you will work both independently and as part of a team on consultancy projects aimed at controlling explosion risks (2014/34/EU, Working Conditions Decree 3.5 a-f, 1999/92/EC). You carry out these projects at client sites, from our office in Stellendam, or from home. Our operational area includes the ARA region.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Advising clients on the minimum safety requirements that explosion-proof equipment must meet.
- Supporting the preparation of Explosion Protection Documents for clients, including in-depth risk analyses in the field of ATEX, zoning determination, investigation of ignition sources and associated protection methods, and the preparation of zoning drawings.
- Advising clients on organisational measures in the context of ATEX.
- Advising clients to comply with laws and regulations.
- Advising clients on zone-reducing measures and ignition protection methods.
- Performing audits of associated management systems and reporting, including any suggested improvements.
- Providing advice on the preparation of inspection policies and procedures based on EN-IEC-60079, including inspections according to part 14/17 and the preparation of commissioning and verification files.
- Providing training, knowledge transfer through workshops, presentations, and courses.
What we require
- HBO (Higher Professional Education) work and thinking level in a technical field.
- More than 10 years of experience in relevant industries.
- More than 10 years of experience in the field of explosion safety.
- Strong powers of persuasion.
- Experience with project management.
- Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
- Strong in communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently, structurally, and systematically.
- Capable of executing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Able to initiate and expand new client relationships.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary for an ATEX Specialist between € 4,500 and € 7,000 based on a 40-hour work week, depending on your education and experience.
